Education Park has successfully organised the Parents’ Information Session for the welfare of students going abroad for their higher studies. The two-day long session was organised at the premises of Education Park located in Civil Mall, Kathmandu. The session was held on April 5 and 6 with an aim to inform parents of students who are aspiring to go abroad for their further studies.
Considering the challenges that students have to face when they are in studying abroad and the effects it could have on students were the major themes on this session. Hence, the major focus of the session was on how students could balance their life while studying abroad and how parents could support them in this situation, said Braj Pandey, chairman of Education Park. Meanwhile, parents also took this session to be beneficial in enhancing their knowledge about studies and life abroad. Parents who participated in the session have urged Education Park to conduct such programmes more frequently in coming days. More than 100 parents participated in this inaugural session.
Being excited with the success of the session, Pandey said, “We have received a very positive response from parents. Our target was to convey adequate and appropriate message to the parents regarding studies abroad and the challenges students have to face. And we have succeeded in doing that, so I am very delighted with this session. We will be organising more effective events in coming days.”
