Education Park Nominated For The PIE Education Agency Of The Year 2019 London

Kathmandu: Education Park has been nominated for 'The PIEoneer Education Agency of the Year 2019' award, one of the most renowned and prestigious awards in the education sector across the world. This is a big achievement not only for Education Park but for the entire international education agency sector of Nepal. Along with Education Park, six other education agencies across the globe have been nominated for this award being felicitated by The PIE. The PIE is an independent media, recruitment and events company connecting global community of professionals working in international education. It started distributing the PIEoneer awards since 2017 in different categories to educational companies and professional individuals across the world. This year awards are being distributed in 16 different categories. Educational agency/consultancy companies are still to gain respect in the Nepali market. Due to numerous incidents of fraud companies, the genuine companies who are actually supporting students for their career are also being evaluated with a negative view.

The industry as a whole is going through its crucial phase as it is under scrutiny from various external bodies including local universitites/colleges, governments, education ministries, etc. Amongst all these, the nomination has just come at right time illustrating not all education agencies in Nepal are ethically wrong. There still are agencies that are responsible, accountable and credible. One of them is Education Park. Education Park has been providing career counseling to students for their education in Australia, the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.   It is located in Civil Mall, Sundhara and also provides language classes and preparatory classes to students. Besides, it has been conducting various information sessions to students and parents alike. Taking into consideration the various queries of parents, Education Park recently conducted the 'Parents Information Session'. Further with a motive of informing students on various options after graduation, it has been conducting 'Career Counseling' at various colleges of Nepal. Education Park has been nominated for the 'The PIEoneer Award 2019' because of its service quality and credibility among parents and students. Education Park is the first educational agency of Nepal to be nominated for such a renowned award. Paul Irvin, general manager of Education New Zealand, has said that The PIEoneer awards are the international education industry's equivalent of the Oscars. "This is not only an achievement for us as a company but for all Nepali education agencies," said Braj Pandey, executive director of Education Park. "It has conveyed a message that we are doing our level best and this has also proved that the sector is as professional as other respectable sectors in the country." "This award has encouraged us to be more responsible and accountable towards our work. If we can continue our good deeds then the rumours surrounding our sector will gradually die out," added Pandey. The PIEoneer Awards celebration is going to be held on September 19 this year at Guild Hall, London.
