All of the Counsellors in Education Park are certified as QEAC.
Qualified Education Agency Counsellors (QEAC) certification is provided to practicing education agents, new staff of agencies, or those who are entering the industry as an education agent. Any counsellor accredited with QEAC means they have successfully completed EATC, the Education Agent Training Course which enables them towards providing quality services to students aspiring to pursue higher education in Australia.
EATC was developed by a combined effort of AEI (Australian Education International) and PIER (Professional International Education Resources). It is a standardised, on-line training course launched by the Minister for Education, Hon. Julie Bishop in 2005 and since then EATC has become a key element in Australia's broader education agency engagement strategy. It is industry-recommended and provided as a professional development tool for counsellors to learn more about the regulations governing international education in Australia.
Having completed the EATC course and the QEAC Certificate hanging on their wall, our counsellors are
- enriched with information about the Australian education system and Australia as a study destination, education quality assurance issues and the Australian visa regulation system;
- abreast of changes and developments in international education services; and
- capable of maintaining excellence in business service delivery, study and career pathways, along with their own professional development.
